This piano course teaches you how to play by ear using in depth music theory to explain everything. The hear and play piano series focuses on aspects of the piano that are often overlooked but very valuable. This course comes DVD format.

There many different parts to this course including DVD's and a 300pg piano course. There are plenty of options to choose from. You can just get a single DVD or get an entire series of DVD's (there are tons of them). There are really not many online courses. Each one focuses on a particular aspect of playing the piano. Everything from learning basic chords to playing gospel music is covered.

The founder, Jermaine Griggs, teaches you first hand on each DVD. The camera is set above his fingers so you can see exactly what he is doing. Everything is layed out in an "easy to understand way". Being able to see everything visually really accelerates the learning process.

I not only enjoyed this course but I am still using it today whenever I need more knowledge about the piano. Don't let the fact that this course teaches you how to play by ear stop you. This is a good thing! This in my opinion is a skill that is very much needed in the piano world.
